I think it is Paul who's responsible for all the awkward leg-hitching. John does have his momentsthough. But alas, there aren't as many incidents of leg-hitched as I'd thought :( There's one where Paul and John are sitting down wearing their ridiculously tight grey trousers and Paul's got his feel up unneccessarily high on a table, but I canna find it.
