In the absolutely deplorable, yet addictive, manga Hot Gimmick, the charming childhood friend of the main female character attempts to gang rape her as part of an elaborate attempt to take revenge on her father. Uhhh at the time I read it, I was like "okay that's bad, but... he's just so fucked up! At least he knows it's wrong! Poor thing!" *ultra-mega-super shame* That whole series is a feminist nightmare.

Anyway, I might watch a couple of this "Gossip Girls." Should I just start at the beginning or pick a number out of a hat? Is this the type of show that grows on you, like a fungus?
