kerpingtack | parallel lives on a slow decline

I saw a free screening of Body of Lies today. Mixed feelings. I thought it would be better and the commercials make it look like it has a completely different plot than it does. Extremely heavy on the exposition and quite clunkily (omg) so at that. Did not feel all that cohesive to me. Favorite, favorite part was Mark Strong as the Jordan head of intelligence. Precise, elegant performance by one classy mofo. So excellent.

There was also a q&a with the editor after the movie and I was curious so I stuck around. Pretty interesting.
