listen to your mother, she's always right

Jesus fucking christ, they should hand out Emmys like party favors to this show.

Tami! Oh my god. TAYLORS. TAYLORS TAYLORS. The throwaway car conversation as they pull up to the driveway and see Buddy Garrity there! The bathroom scene! They are the best family ever to ever on television.

Tami and Tyra! Jesus. Tami is the best person ever, ever, ever.

For what has to be the first time ever, I liked Lyla. Like, consistently. Throughout the whole episode. Though I don't think she should've left the house overnight like that; wtf crisis, don't bail on your family. But they gave her something to do and someone to be.

I felt for her at the beginning, and... she was alone and didn't have anyone she could talk to. I mean, she was all alone and calling Jason from her bed. Did she drive 200 miles just to have someone? :< And she's scared that Jason's changing, and she's not changing with him. Oh, darling. Damn you, show. I can't root for them to break up with so much certainty anymore.

My favorite Lyla, though, is Bitchy Drunk Jealous Lyla. I LOVE THAT ONE.

This episode made me fall back into my Jason love, though it's a little harrowing to watch. He's so blind and hopeful and set, but so happy. He wants them to make it, but he can't quite stop for her now.

I know what they were trying to do with Tim + little kid. It is too bad that I was just charmed to bits by the kid (PARFAIT, school picture at the end, omg, I collapsed of love) and still wanted to paste a magazine over Tim's head. He was quite good with the kid, but that actor is SO BAD. He makes everything so deliberate and contrived and rargh rargh.

Julie is super cute. Matt is deathly perfect. Julie called him "Mr. Matthew Saracen!" I squealed into my hands like a squeak toy. <3 doesn't even begin to cover it.

Oh, man. The Smash-Waverly storyline was so good. They both broke my heart at the end. I love that Smash noticed that something was Wrong even before anything, and that he's staying in. He really likes her. I hope they make it. I feel a lot more on this subject than I can put into words!

This show is so good. Yeah. It's not my favorite show, that's SPN, but strictly quality-wise, it's hands-down the best show on television right now. Every part, there's not even a need for me to call out anything because I'll just be listing every single that happened on the show.

Hee, I just realized. Everything fit in quite well with the title, didn't it? They're so matter-of-fact. *pinches cheeks*
