Wow I actually felt okay about that final! AND I checked my stats grade again; it says I officially have an A. ?!!?!?!?!?!?! WELL OKAY. I'M NOT GOING TO COMPLAIN EVEN THOUGH THAT MAKES NO SENSE. Please god do not let that be a mistake, pls pls plsssss.
Also I got all dressed up today because I'm only on campus a few hours. I feel cute as hell even though I know my eyes are all dead from my glorious two hours of sleep. Mrowwwr.

For the most part SHINee gets good clothes. I love the button-down shirts for Love Like Oxygen. He was so, like, glossy and pretty during those promotions.
Most people have nice laughs and smiles but his is a fucking sunburst in my heart. I am sooo in looooove. It is ridiculous. I never went through the boyband thing, or anything remotely similar to that, when I was younger. Like, goddamn, I didn't discover Leo DiCaprio until a few years ago and even that is just admiring his career and lolling at him and shouting I LOVE HIM AND HIS FAT HEAD in the general direction of the internet. Everyone looks so cute here. Man the first time I saw SHINee I thought they were utterly tragic and embarrassing and was all ~how could anyone find these helpless people attractive~. (It was that SGB episode with SNSD when Minho looked hapless as fuck and Onew looked like a duck and Jonghyun was mentally shunted off as "the normal-looking one." :d) Now look at me. LOL Jonghyun and Minho are such boyfriends in this picture (read: every picture). I LOVE THEM.
kpop has probably ruined me for life in terms of standards of cuteness. Everyone laughs so much and there is so much touching and playfulness and open affection. <3___<3 I know it's a cultural difference and marketing but still. SO MUCH CUTENESS. Like, I love how in Hello Baby (it's a show where idol groups basically babysit a little kid for a few months. idk why either but kpop's skill with ice-picking into my id is unparalled. cute babies + cute people = GAME OVER) the boys are always saying the toddler, Yoogeun, is cute, just really naturally and off-handedly. Granted SHINee are not the menliest of men but stuff like that is not considered unmasculine, like skinship and bro-grabs and bro-hugs and bro-hand holding. (Of course the other side of that is that stuff is acceptable because they act like homosexuality doesn't exist and masculinity still means being patriarchal and a complete dick to women. ;___;)
ANYWAY
Left: Minho with Yoogeun. It's Minho's birfday today and he posted pictures of him with Yoogeun. DYING OF AWWW. Minho genuinely loved him so much. The show was only twelve episodes long and it ended in March of this year but they really bonded with him and I'm glad they're staying in touch. I think they already took him to some kind of sports... game thing in the summer. So, so sweet. Right: Taemin. He was voted ~worst dad~ but that's not saying much. They all really cared for Yoogeun and were sweet to him.
Left: Onew. Onew and Jonghyun, despite being the two oldest of the group, were the ones who were the least excited about Hello Baby. Jonghyun got over it quickly because he basically thrives off love but Onew was varying degrees of scared or awkward with Yoogeun for the run of the show. He was scared of dropping Yoogeun (bad childhood experience with a puppy, FOR REAL. these kids are precious jewels) and like Jonghyun said, it was that he wanted to become closer but he didn't know how. In the very last episode he picked Yoogeun up for the first time and he said, "Yoogeun is lighter than I thought," all quietly amazed. ;___; so sweet. omg where did this paragraph come from. MOVING ON. Right: Joooonghyuuuunnnnnnn <3___<3 Jonghyun was a loveably emburrussing little bitch for the first three episodes. Once he got moar comfortable with the situation, he's just this crazy loud fun playful uncle-type character who showers Yoogeun with affection. He is just so loving. I LOVE HIM.

Have a gif of Key being cute hipster trash (with Jonghyun off to the side with perfeckt hair *__*) and another one of Jonghyun with Yoogeun. Key was probably his favorite. The thing with Key is that he comes off as cold and (amongst international fans) he's stereotyped as being a diva/bitchy, and he is kind of cold to people he doesn't ~take to~ and he can be a dicksmack and a half (seriously will not forgive him for telling Nicole to go on a diet. I know they're good friends and he has his own body/food issues, but still, fuck you Key). But he has all these weird cute nice sides to him. He really cares about children and he was the first one to get close to Yoogeun and he took care of him very well. Yoogeun really liked him.

DROWNING A SEA OF CUTENESS. there is seriously just TOO MUCH STUFF and yet not enough. kpop is crack for the soul. it's just so polished and when it's good, it's SO good but when it's bad it's terrible and there's something new to look at everyday so you just end up addicted. this is the first media obsession that's, like, continuously rewarded my ridiculously thorough internet scouring. ;__;
there's also a show where celebrities are paired up in fake marriages. that's not really my thing but I understand the appeal and I admire Korea's dedication to pure joy/guilty pleasures. siiiighh at the moment I'm dying over this photoshoot that is just styled PERFECTLY. sweaters and unnecessary winter headgear and knitted gloves and bedhead. kpop is an embarrassment of riches.
