advantage to twitter, don't need to think of subject lines

there was free food at work and I drank 2.5 cups of Coke. I can feel my bones slowly disintegrating but I don't care.

twitter has ruined me; it's now first nature to drop all apostrophes and abbreviate everything. I need halp! halp!

also too lazy to think of new ways to say things, which means if I already twittered about it (I'm still not that comfortable saying 'tweet' but it's not like 'twittered' is any better so I don't know what the point of this parethetical aside is) that's all there is to say!

I started today quite grandly:

wtf happened last night i fell asleep at like 10pm, woke up at midnight, rolled my ankle on the way to the bathroom, and then fell asleep

on the floor cursing onew's name. ?????????????????????

my ankle still hurts

ok i remember stumbling to the bathroom to brush my teeth and then my ankle just rolled under me bc i don't know how to walk i guess

and then i just stayed lying down bc it rly hurt & was like THIS NEVER WOULDVE HAPPENED IF IT WASNT FOR THAT JONGYU GIF ??????

and then i fell asleep again. or passed out. idk what happened. wat was i even thinking about onew never rolled his ankle in any gif idk

ugh i hate my brain i'm still all muddled. i woke up thinking STUPID ONEW GIF

plus in my dream i was on this ride that was supposed to be 60s themed but it was like a ~scary ride & a shit ton of things fell over on me

and it was gross. this just goes to show, it's bad to sleep early smh

lol ty!!! i seriously don't know what happened. it must've been like that time in high school where i got up to close the blinds &

just fell over & slept another 3 hours on the floor & my sister found me and was like "........................."

actually a slightly better comparison would be those koalas that fall out of their tree bc they get stoned & sleepy, except i'm just

wrt old entries: I forgot how I tried to ~cultivate a kind of online writing style before. I'd leave a lot out of ~stories about my day and do a lot of cutesy/clever affectations. I was copying how other people blogged to get that same sort of image. it took me a while before I really got annoyed at myself for trying so hard to say so much nothing. I could probably stand to be a little more edited now, just so I'm more... comprehensible but oh well oh well. in any case I'm gonna try to cut back on the parentheses. and stop changing my sentence in the middle of writing it.

this is my entry for the day, I'm just going to keep editing it~

- jjong is a corgi. accept no substitutes!!!!!! (unless they are super cute.)

- I'm fucking bumming myself out with this jongyu thing I'm writing.

- I'm worried that I love Minho without ~getting~ him. but in a way I think that the thing about Minho is that there IS no thing about Minho, in that there's not a lot of filters or guards you have to get through, not like Onew or Key, for example. there's no "trick" to him. he's not a difficult person; he's earnest and considerate and has no... like, veiled motivations about things? like he loves SHINee because he loves SHINee, and he works hard because he wants to do the best he can and please people and do right by them, etc. in a lot of ways what you see is pretty much what you get. I guess people find him boring because what you see is sincere and pleasant and there's not much to figure out? his UFO replies are boring for this reason at least lol. but he's fun and funny and I think the most unguardedly sweet in SHINee. also serious, responsible, protective, quiet & thoughtful, etc.
- potential complicated factors: his fixation with older men, their attention, and their approval; his need for approval in general; being pliant and exploited for his looks!! or something similar about being farmed out as a particularly beautiful person in a sea of beautiful people idk; being "untalented"; competitive nature/pushing himself; family issues?; romantic/dramatic (living in his own kdrama at times lol); unconditional support for others that can be enabling (doesn't push others for emotional/~social~ responsibility?); athleticism?; remarkable lack of any stage presence or charisma (to be fair he's improved a lot); his dancing is a cause for concern (ballerino, Choi Minho lost his mind!!, general flailing frog limbs).
- I reserve the right to take back everything I said here if I change my mind, lol.

- I get really anxious when, in real life, I hear people talking about things I know. I go fucking bonkers because I want to talk about them too!!!!! but I don't know how to integrate myself in the already on-going conversation. today at work I overheard a bunch of people talking about their favorite Disney movies and someone asked what the last good Disney movie was. that was when I had to put in my earphones and scroll the volume up to drown them all out; otherwise I would've gone crazy in my seat trying to think of a way to contribute without scooting my rolly chair halfway across the office screaming LILO & STITCH!!!! MULAN!!!!!

- I'm eating a tortilla. just a tortilla. it's not even cooked. idk. it's not like I'm hungry either.

- I made a damn fool of myself on tumblr the other day. oh well it turned out okay.

- Jonghyun and Minho are everyone's girlfriends. I don't have to explain.

- I LOVE how smiley and friendly and fun Taemin, and Key have been recently. it's so ~heart-warming~ (the tildes are there to mask how serious I am about that statement). they're all loosening up and getting closer to one another~ I'm happy for Key in particular. he seems more genuine or something these days, a lot more secure or comfortable, and it's translating into a nice energy. confidence too. he's getting along with Minho and Onew and having fun with Taemin, and also being more... something with Jonghyun? he's initiating things more, without being arch? idk what I'm trying to say lol. and he looks amazing lately. he's a good looking guy. and Taemin has been a stand-out at the concert. I think he's been more appreciative of his hyungs and he's also been initiating things more. Most Improved Robot for sure.

- this fucking cut wizard pop up is annoying the hell out of me.

- LOL I truly am good at taking tests; I got a 96 on my geography midterm and I crammed for that the day of. granted it was ~heavily curved, but still. my one saving grace!! thank god.

- this is took me way too long. twitter is sapping away my rambling stamina. I need that, especially since the only way I can write comments is to ramble all over the countryside. sadcat

- wtf is up with this double-spaced problem.

jongyu is seriously self-insert for me; I basically wrote "if I were Onew, what would be an incredibly painful thing for Jonghyun to say to me?" and then I morbidly wrote it and then I was like omg I have to make this a dream sequence, it's too fucking depressing. and not in character lol.

lol Minho. (insert half-formed ship thought about Minho ~always knowing when and when not to take Jonghyun seriously and being comfortable initiating jokes with him~) yeah idk, I'm also curious about why he took SM up on their offer, like if it was a personal challenge thing for him and/or if he was encouraged by someone around him or what. but otherwise idk, it's not that he has no depth but he's a simple guy, in a really kind of pure way.

mean interpretation: maybe the rest of SHINee feel more comfortable being friendly now that Onew's checked out and isn't THERE with them to be a killjoy reminder that they're ~really~ just coworkers. but that's really mean. maybe it's more like an overcompensation thing, like they're making up for the missing energy/camaraderie because they're now, emotionally, a four member group. like they were pretty loose and friendly during jjong's hiatus (though that might have been the aftereffects of the concert too) -- I remember because people trolled that SHINee were happier without jjong and I got apocalyptically butthurt, lol.

"It's summer," Minho said plainly. They were in Korea, on their way out to more activities in Japan.

"Nah, it's still spring," Jonghyun replied, once he figured out Minho was directing that statement at him. When Minho shook his head in a sort of 'you're impossible' gesture Jonghyun said, "And we're taking a red-eye, and it's cold in the airport, cold on the plane, and we're always stuck in cold rooms and cars, so don't mind me," and stuck his tongue out at Minho. "It's not as if I'm making you wear it." Jonghyun flipped his furry hood onto his head and walked through the door that Minho was holding open for him, as they were the last ones to leave their apartment.

Late spring but it felt like winter the moment Minho stepped outside for a late night walk. They just returned home an hour ago --and it wasn't this cold when they got back-- from dance practice and were to rise early to leave for Japan again, but Minho still had a lot of energy. His sleep pattern was non-existent nowadays with them relentlessly promoting in Japan. A short walk usually did the job of properly tuckering him out. He popped back into the apartment and saw one of Jonyhun's thick hoodies hanging from the coat stand. It wasn't that much different from one of the sweaters that the stylists put them in during JoJo promotions, but instead of bright vertical stripes they were vertical stripes of varying shades of gray/blue. Minho mentally shrugged as he grabbed it and pulled it over his head. On the other side he found Key looking at him, yawning.

"Fans are gonna think Jjong grew a foot," Key said and smirked.

"I'm gonna tell him you said that," Minho replied, half-serious.

"Sure. Just get enough sleep tonight so I don't have to drag your ass outta bed in the morning."

Summer seemingly hit hard and all at once this time they return to Korea. Minho had long lost count of how many times they've weaved back and fourth over the east sea on airplanes. On this particular day Seoul was already sweltering at 2pm.

Minho was walking past a convenience store, very near his destination where he was going to have a late lunch with his mother, when he heard the short bark and high whining of a corgi puppy, it's leash fastened to a bicycle rack. He could feel his own face sag with a pout over how cute the puppy was, short tail wagged in happiness over the prospect of being pet by a stranger. The puppy had brown patches along with a yellow-white coat, which Minho hadn't seen before on a corgi. It licked at his hand, rolled over for a belly rub and was panting, from the heat and the excitement probably wasn't helping. Ice cream sounded really good right now. "Bye-bye," Minho said to the puppy as he stood up. The puppy began to whine. "Be good! Your owner will be out soon."

In the middle of choosing whether he should get a strawberry paleta or a chocolate and coffee mix of b&j, Minho received a text.

"jinki-hyung got us a huge bucket of napolitano lol"

Minho looked out of the window to watch the puppy and its owner walk away under the short shadows of the mid-afternoon sun. It's coat reminded him of Jonghyun-hyung's shaded hair, though it didn't have the blurred and layered boundaries that his bandmate's hair had. And that guy was already home? At least now he knew there was ice cream waiting for him after lunch.

"Why the hell is it so damned hot in here," Minho muttered to himself as he struggled with his shoes in the apartment entrance.

"Air-con's broken!" Jonghyun called from the living room. Minho dumped his backpack on the floor and sloched on the couch, sitting more with his lower back than his actual butt. "Jinki-hyung's still passed out from hanging out with whoever so last night, so I dunno if he's gonna go out to dinner with us tonight." Jonghyun said, and put another chunk of chocolate ice cream in his mouth. "Ice cream better not be his way of pre-emptively apologizing for backing out of dinner. Want some?" Jonghyun asked, spoon loaded and quickly looking like it was going to drip at any moment.

"'Sokay, will get my own in a moment." Minho said. "Once I'm not a puddle anymore."

"Haha, you look like you're about to pass out," Jonghyun begins to fan Minho with the mail; some newspaper advertisements and postcards that Key and Taemin sent to themselves and each other from Japan. "Glad I got back before it got really hot. 2pm. Hottest time of day."

Minho's eyes were closed. After nearly a full minute he said, "Awwww, thanks for fanning me, hyung. I could kiss you."

The fanning stopped and Minho could feel Jonghyun getting in real close. "Pucker up, baby!" Jonghyun was making a kissy face.

"I was just kidding," Minho said and slid his shoulders in the opposite direction from Jonghyun, elbow up on the cushion. It occurred to him that Jonghyun's mouth was probably cool from the latent cold of the ice cream, and he rolls himself off the couch and fixated on deciding a flavor, chocolate over strawberry and vanilla. "I'm gonna get myself some ice cream before Taemin comes back and eats it all."

"Don't offer, then!" Minho can hear the smile in Jonghyun's tone. "And just eat vanilla, will you, it matches you. And Jinki-hyung always needs help finishing that stuff off anyway."

"You're cutting up a sweater?"

"Yeah, so? Since when did you ever care about sweaters, walking furnace?" Jonghyun eyed the symmetry of the cut armholes and returned the cloth scissors to the stylist and thanked her. He bundled it up and threw it at Onew. "Now you'll feel less like dying in this, Jinki-hyung." Jonghyun grinned.

"Too bad I haven't been working out. But thank you, Jonghyun!" Onew replied.

"Hey, none of that self-deprecation now, hyung." Jonghyun was walking out of the room and Minho was standing in the doorway, looking in.

Minho can't help but provoke. "So you're gonna literally gonna be a fashion terrorist, and on other people's clothing? At least Kibum keeps it limited to himself."

Jonghyun brushes past him and walks backward through the hall. He makes the gesture of pointing at his own two eyes and then pointing them toward Minho, does it twice. "Careful with that mouth of yours. I'm watching you, Choi Minho."
