- For a hipster circle-jerk hot spot, tumblr is really poorly designed. Is it because it's filled with fourteen year old wannabe hipsters? It looks clean but it's so impractical, like a fucking forum except with some layouts you can't even see the date/time stamp or click on the link itself. wtf is that.
- f(x)'s NU ABO is weird as fuck but compelling. It's so droning and hypnotic and, like, darkly cutesy.
- I need to stop bullshit analyzing kpop. I'm starting to back off a littttle now and I'm all omg at this series of entries on, like, the structural inadequacies of the industry. LOL I'm so fucking earnest about it. Especially that giant Jonghyun post. I would edit it but I feel obligated to preserve the authentic image of myself at this time so I can self-obsess accurately later. I'm always so embarrassed whenever I re-read anything I wrote when I was madly in love. MANY FEELINGS NEED MANY PARAGRAPHS OKAY.
- omg I'm watching SNSD on Happy Together and I love them so fucking much. They're so funny and pretty. It just makes me feel good to watch them. Taeyeon, Sooyoung, and Seohyun look so fucking gorgeous lately. Sunny's hair is unfortunate to say the least but she's so cute and her laugh makes me want to burst into butterflies or something. SO CUTE. And she's not just cute; she's capable as fuck. She's so brave and smart and witty and easy-going and nice and just fucking boss and loool she can drink like a tank even though she's like 5'0'' and ugh I LOVE HER THE MOAST, THE MOAST THE MOASTTTTT.

Part two after ~8:00 is good and I think parts three and four in general are really funny (LOL I love it when they talk about Taeyeon's weird-ass sleep-talking and LOOOOL at Seohyun being called a robot).
From left to right: Sooyoung (tall, long, short hair, GORGEOUS); Sunny (seriously unfortunate blonde/orange hair omg it washes her out so much, amazing smile); Seohyun (also tall, round eyes, sooo pretty); Yuri (very gorgeous); Taeyeon (short hair, bangs, also super super pretty). The older people along the other wall are the hosts. omg Shin Bongsun is so gr8. (As a side note, it kinda grates how they treat comedians, especially especially females ones, as physically repellant or laughable. It's not even bad with Shin Bongsun here, mostly because she's legit talented in singing/dancing and they treat her as such, but it's consistent across, like, the entire culture. Actually it's very socially acceptable to openly criticize or mock someone's appearance, especially with regards to weight. I don't know how there's not a complete epidemic of eating disorders among Asian girls. I got so butthurt when I was in middle school because my extended family etc. would keep pointing out how chunky I was, how much weight I gained, whatever. Where is this parenthetical aside going.)
What you need to know to get through this video:
- Sooyoung is hilarious and beautiful and amazing. She's so fun to watch on these variety shows because she has great comic timing and she's so quick and witty. Looooove her. And I LOVE her hair like this. Ugh she looks so good.
- Sunny: cute, witty, lulzsome, pretty eyes, AMAZING WHEN SHE LAUGHS, the best, etc.
- Seohyun is the youngest and everyone in SNSD/the universe dotes on her. She's very upright and methodical and disciplined, which can mean stiff and uptight and unbelievable. But her awkwardness is SO cute and endearing. She's such a robot sometimes!! Agh I love her. And I love how everyone's setting up all the jokes for her and stuff, agh so cute. She has been looking so pretty lately. She looks like a goddess in live Hoot performances.
- Taeyeon is the oldest and the leader of the group. She's adorable and pretty like a doll but she's amazingly dorky and has this resiliency/toughness about her. She has also been looking, like, EXQUISITELY pretty lately.
- Yuri is one of the "middle children" of SNSD along with Sooyoung. She's... actually it's hard for me to get a handle on Yuri. She's funny and a prankster and kind of spacey. Not relevant to this clip: her body is bangin'.
- I mention age because it really matters in Korea, like down to the month. "Unnie" is what girls call girls older than them. It can be used as a suffix; my younger sister can call me "unnie" or "counttheplanes-unnie" (lol). (For the curious: "oppa" is what girls call older boys; "noona" is what boys call older girls; "hyung" is what boys call older boys.)
- I have no idea what the specific format of the show is for. The games are not unusual though; most variety shows have at least this level of ridiculousness. LOL I love the prizes they have on these shows. Sometimes they'll have food prizes and the idols always flip their shit over that.
- They've been promoting in Japan since the summer and it's going really well!

- Seriously losing my mind. I thought Momus' A Complete History of Sexual Jealousy Parts 17-24 was Romeo+Juliette and that some other song was Juliette even though those songs aren't even on my iPod. My entire existence, you guys.
- Ugh if I read one more comment about how Onew is better than Jonghyun or how Jonghyun's voice is ~so awful~ I will... write another blog entry bitching about it. I don't get why he's always singled out for complaints. They're ALL screaming in that Hot Times performance and that last note was perfect. And why are some Onew fans so insecure? Everyone recognizes Onew's voice, okay, people pick him out as their favorite singer or whatever on shows and he got good reviews from critics for his musical. And he's probably the most well-known member in SHINee anyway. He's not hurting for attention. Can't these passive-aggressive fans find other ways to talk about Onew besides bitching about Jonghyun.
