Yesterday was a crying day. I felt like dying, like, the entire time I was at the office and when I left had to sit in the car for a while to cry before I drove to the post office. Last minute errands stress me out so much especially when I have to drive somewhere for the first time. On the drive to pick up Julian I listened to Those Dancing Days' Hitten about five times in a row. Stopped by Panda Express because I was hungry. Picked up Julian, ate together, dropped him off at his piano lesson, slept in the car while waiting. Lots of crying at night and maudlin music time. I think I'm sick again ;;

Saturday: went to Halloween festival downtown in the morning. awk stand-up by people who were clearly mis-booked for the event. the first comedian was dying but he was decent. it seems like stand-ups often get booked for events that are completely wrong for them and they're not informed of it in advance. balloon animal artist(?) was super talented, made Crush/Squirt from Finding Nemo for JJB. he made a wearable jet-pack for another kid :o JJB played video games at the video game room booth or whatever. not sure if the dude moderating the booth was chatting me up or not. JJB lost his soda bottle bc he left it on the floor and it probably spilled all over and I got mad at him especially after he wandered away after he was done playing the game and if I didn't see him walk out he might have gotten lost. ranted at him, regretted it immediately after. even if you apologize to kids for yelling or snapping at them afterward, it doesn't undo the damage. I know this but I can't stop myself. fell asleep at the office. Mom mad at me.

Sunday: took JJB & his bff to Chuck E. Cheese after church while the adults were at Bible study. got kind of lost on the way lol. pizza was not good. kids were really cute. talked to this one super hyper kid while watching Julian play Mario Kart. JJB granted me one token and I won seven tickets with Skeeball. Julian & friend are gamblers, they used up most of their tokens on ticket games. lots of motion simulation games (roller coasters etc). saw what was basically a jump rope simulation game. thoughts about the Wii, Guitar Hero, etc. the boys took a long time choosing their prizes of course. they play well together even though they fight a lot too lol. went to the mall afterward, JJB really wants a fedora. gold glittery bear hat looked super cute on him. went to Trader Joe's.

Resolved: Gonna sign up for nanowrimo and nablopomo and write like hell in November. I'm going to cheat with nanowrimo though and get the word count by working on my two dozen existing WIPs/word docs.

Taking all the songs. (And I have the Anastasia soundtrack somewhere in my house, lol. That was one of my favorite movies when I was younger.)

Good luck with Nanowrimo! I did that a few years ago. It was a challenge, but it was also to fun to see what came out.

Thank you! I really like typography and lettering and all that kind of stuff, so that's mostly what I doodle.

lol just to warn you, that Guided By Voices song is not very good; I haven't deleted it because I can't decide how annoyed I am by it. (omg I LOVED Anastasia. There was one summer where my sister and I watched it EVERY SINGLE DAY for a month. (Kids are so weird.) I rewatched it a couple of years ago, it holds up pretty well!)
