I fucking love these two and their amazing bromantic relationship. LOL they like to antagonize each other. Jonghyun is really gleeful about getting one over on Minho, and Minho likes to fuck with Jonghyun just for no reason. They're SUCH little kids, complete with lots of needless random competition. They're also the two most physically affectionate members of the group, which translates into them being rough (well, comparatively ahah) and playful. Especially Minho.

who is the 'bad guy' in SHINee?: LOL they both pick on each other so much. (Plus Onew + Jonghyun + radio = always the best.)

who is the most hard-working in SHINee?: Jonghyun screws Minho over and then compliments him and then screws him over again. but awww tender hand-holding~. Plus there is Onew and Taemin being in love and Jonghyun and Key being (life) partners. (I love everyone in SHINee with everyone else.)

SHINee are basically a basket of baby animals even compared to the cuteness menagerie that is all of kpop. This is the tamest manifestation of the phrase "punching each other with a baby" possible.

Minho judges Jonghyun so hard. He's not even doing anything embarrassing here, Minho, lay off.

I'm strangely fascinated with it too.) Minho picks Jonghyun, Jonghyun overrides with "MINHO," the crowd starts chanting for blood, and they both end up having to act cute~. LOL they picked each other because they want to drag the other one down but I also think they find each other legit adorable. (btw lol at how these two get roped into these things, like that horrific Orange Caramel Magic Girl dance. omg. I'm not even going to link it.)

The other side of that is that they're both so fucking sweet and openly affectionate and soft inside and they're always praising each other in interviews and going on movie/shopping dates (sorry about the stalkerazzi pictures ;__;) and being gr8. They really adore each other. Minho like shows no respect for Jonghyun as a hyung and but Jonghyun is a cute easy-going pushover who dotes on his youngers so he doesn't mind, and Minho obviously cares about his dumb opinion and thinks he is amazing anyway. On Jonghyun's part, he thinks Minho is perfect and is childishly jealous of Minho's handsomisity and is sort of in awe of him.

And idk, I love their relationship because it's just so mutual. They prank and tease each other all the time but they also respect each other and straight up adore each other and just seem to appreciate a bro like Jonghyun with Minho's srs bsnsness and Minho with Jonghyun's natural derpy cuteness. They're also a good balance because they're the ones in SHINee who are the most likely to take themselves too srsly and get butthurt or sulky but their mutual relentless trolling keep each other in check. Minho calls Jonghyun out on his lulzy bullshit and Jonghyun helps Minho joke around, especially in the early days when he really tried to get Minho to talk and come out of his shell. (Jonghyun seriously brings the playfulness/talkativeness out of Minho.) They're just really close and are always chatting and joking around with each other and appreciate each other fully, flaws and all. Mutual admiration society~ Awwwwmg~~~

The first 1:20: Minho praising Jonghyun as part of the compliment relay~ I love this. You can see how much Minho lurves and appreciates his hyung, and Jonghyun is all pleased and embarrassed and eager to hear more, omg, he is such a puppy. (Tiem to be in love: aww Jonghyun being responsible and looking after Minho and being ~surprisingly smart~ awwwww.) Plus they all looked really fresh and beautiful in the New Zealand photoshoots.

Start from 5:35: Minho spying on Jonghyun while he chooses who the best/worst "dads" are to Yoogeun on Hello Baby. He picks Minho and Onew as the best dads (Jonghyun thinks so highly of those two, it's so sweet) and awmg Minho sprouts like a sunflower under the praise. Of course ~there can only be one~ so he does eeny-meeny-miny-moe and ends up crossing Minho out. Your boyfrand is simple but fair, Minho.

tiiiiiny gif, I know, but I can't find a bigger one or the video. It's a cute instance of one of the many times Jonghyun has thrust a mic upon Minho in an effort to get him to talk. Aww the look he gives Jonghyun is so helpless. He really was too quiet in the early days. They seriously had to coax him into talking.

There is something inherently dumb about embedding a 35-second long youtube video but there are already too many gifs on this page and Jonghyun is gorgeous and dorky and totes worth all the 35-second long youtube videos in the universe. I love how immediately he stops dancing to hug it out. They're both so loving, I don't even know what to do with myself. Minho gives such good hugs and everyone should always be hugging Jonghyun all the time. PERFECT MATCH.

And okay, my love for Jonghyun is out of control, but my heart is full of fondness for Minho too. I didn't ~get it~ at first and was wtfing about this flaming charisma business and why he was unanimously considered the best looking in SHINee. (Full disclosure, it's because I was completely blinded by my love for Jonghyun. Balls to the wall stan~~.) But Minho is so sweet and corny and hapless and good-intentioned and hard-working and cute. I'm starting to get defensive for him too. He is so proud of SHINee and he's so supportive of everyone. Like, his thank-you notes on the album liner notes are always twelve pages long and he has the members listed as "My darling Jonghyun~ <3" and "My darling Taemin~ <3" on his phone and his three wishes for Christmas were to watch a movie with the members, go to an amusement park with the members, and take a picture in front of the Christmas tree with the members. (Everyone made fun of him for it and joked that it was scripted and whatnot but I think his little heart clearly and sincerely meant it. Cheesy motherfucker. <3__<3) He's always the one to comfort the others when they're falling apart on the stage crying. And he loved Yoogeun so fucking much, omg, my heart. He was REALLY QUIET in the early days and everyone thought that he was srs bsns all the time but lolol he's kind of nuts. He apparently has a temper and he can get so loud and bossy. And omg he can be embarrassing on-stage but he's so earnest and gives it his all, it's so fucking endearing. I love his laugh omg. It's really fun to see him open up in all these variety shows and be adored/doted upon by the hosts and whatnot. He is really so lovely. I LOVE YOUUU MINHOOOOO
