It is hard liking comedians because the good ones are usually not the ones headlining a movie. I think most comedy movies aren't funny though. Le sigh, but Arrested Development and the Office have conned me into this strange lifestyle.

Knocked Up
pros:
Judd Apatow has a decent track record
I like Paul Rudd too
HAY B.J. NOVAK HAS A BIT ROLE IN THIS
So does Jason Segel
it's getting good reviews
cons:
the concept leaves me cold
I'm sure Katherine Heigl is a lovely person and she's a good actress, but I can't fucking look at her without seeing fucking Izzie. And I hate Izzie so very, very, very much.

The Ex
pros:
JASON BATEMAN
Paul Rudd again
Amy Poehler
I have the creeping feeling that Zach Braff is a douche in real life, but he's good on camera and capable of being very wonderful/funny/likable
cons:
it looks, how do you say, STUPID
I have the creeping feeling that Zach Braff is a douche in real life, and capable of being a douche on camera
Also I don't like Donal Logue

I'll probably watch the Ex over Knocked Up even with the aforementioned stupidity. I'd see both but I really hate Izzie, y'all.

EEE! *happy shrieking, clapping* I'm A Cyborg But That's Okay, despite the ...-inducing name and totally gratuitous violence, is TONS OF FUN. It's weird (no duh, it takes place in a mental hospital and IZ ASIAN) and fails on the emotional porn level (I HATE OLD PEOPLE OMG) so there are the boring parts and the weird parts and the boring weird parts, but WIN WIN WIN for visual porn!! and charm and quirkiness. ALSO it has Bi/Rain being seriously adorable. He yodels!! C'mon. The first half is seriously great.
