If you're doing a presentation of any kind -- a poster, a card, a power point -- THERE IS NO EXCUSE TO USE TIMES NEW ROMAN. If you need a font with serifs (goddamn his font's got serifs), THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER ONES THAT DON'T LOOK SO CHEAP AND UGLY PAST SIZE 12. And there is no excuse to use Comic Sans ever. This is my opinion, thus it should be law.

Yesterday was my sister's birthday! :D :D :D<33 JJB made her a really cute card. I might scan it later.

- Season 1 of House is off the ho~ok. The episode where Chase finds out his father is dead was on TV tonight and I always forget how good it is.
- I went to the UCLA store and tried on a bunch of dresses to make myself feel better. It didn't really work. Yeah I didn't think that one through.
- 30 Rock has been good this season. Everyone is like the best character ever. Jack Donaghy <3_<3
- I don't like Sleater-Kinney as much as I thought I did.
- Fuck mailmen, they fucking stole my care package.
- I am in a bad place right now. I need this year to be over. I cannot survive this intact.
- I eat like I think something bad will happen if I'm NOT eating. Everyday is a constant stream of food. idk idk

un. THANKSGIVING
I have never been more excited about Thanksgiving. This year is like ESPECIALLY bad in terms of just wanting to leave, I am pretty much breathing so I can get to that weekend. Also obsessing about food. I just sit around thinking about things I get to eat.

Ralph's is a fucking cockblock and doesn't have them. I am anxious and panicky! (at the disco). They stopped production on those cookies. They are not going to make any more of those cookies. Why doesn't Ralph's understand???

I need eggs, sandwich bread, lunch meat, and cheese. Maybe yogurt. How the hell do I get a Ralph's card? Ralph's is nexus of evil for me right now.

I'm building up a list of self-indulgent things to do on Special Day. Most of these things revolve around food. I'm going to eat In n Out and red bean buns and maybe Subway or Quizno's and buy candy. I was thinking of maybe watching a movie but ehhh I'd really rather eat all day zomg.

I was going to go see Ballast, which is showing for free at Melnitz and has great reviews and seems like it has a tone I'd like (METAPHORICAL WINTERS IN LITERAL WINTERS LOLOLOL omg I'm dumb), plus the director is showing up for a q&a after which is pretty cool, but I'm tired. AND ALSO I SMASHED MY FUCKING TOENAIL WITH THE KITCHEN CHAIR. WHAT THE FUCK!! WHY THE HELL ARE THE KITCHEN CHAIRS SO DESTRUCTIVE?? ALL I DID WAS ACCIDENTALLY BANG MY TOE AGAINST IT AND NOW IT'S CRACKED AND IT BLED. It still feels weird when I put weight on it, ie STAND, so I'm thinking that walking back and forth to campus is not a good idea. Listen, one of my hardcore physical DO NOT WANTS is a fucking nail falling off. That concept just freaks me out so badly. I'm praying and preying that it's not going to happen.

I'm watching an episode of What Not to Wear. This girl is so cute. I can't even believe it. She wears a lot of fleece sweaters and yoga pants which is le horreur I guess, but she looks SO CUTE. I love fleece. She is so cute and comfy! OMG she's so cute. I'm just going to keep repeating this. Redheads! *___* Ew they're recommending skinny jeans. Holy what?? Lord skinny jeans. I really don't like the "talking about person while watching them from TV screen" segments. 

She runs her own real estate agency and the big thing they're pushing is like zomg you need to look polished and confident so people will think you know what you're talking about. I don't know about that. I think I'm just biased to think that the more "polished" you look as a real estate agent, the more likely you'll be a douchebag. OMG I hate what they did to her hair. Oh seriously hate. She looks like a mannequin. And Kirsten Dunst.

I was so tired this morning. I wanted to detach my head and carry it around like a suitcase instead of holding it up on top of my neck all day. Tired!

I feel like an unhip loser! Sometimes when I search for things on hype machine, I really get quite irritated at all the REMIXES. Why are there so many? Why can't they just leave a song alone? And then I download them hesitantly and I am a person that does not even know what beats are (how does one drop them, for example?) so I listen to it thinking, but what's the point? if they wanted something to dance to, why couldn't they just dance to the Spice Girls or something? ALSO remixes tend to be HUGE. Like what the fuck, why is it 12 MB for a fucking 4 minute song?? >( ALSO I don't like how everyone capitalizes 'remix' in the song title. It's like when people capitalize 'live' or 'cover.'

My mom came in with a plate saying, "Do you want to eat something REALLY DELICIOUS?!" I was skeptical I admit. They looked like normal potatoes. She said all she did was steam them. Obvs she steamed them with magic.

I am eating the potatoes right now. Oh my god they are so good. Potatoes, so good. Remember that! I want an icon with potatoes in them. Maybe with baby Baldwin eyeing up the potatoes. Maybe me eating potatoes on an eagle's back.
