Unveiling my new icon. I have not moved anywhere past "crop" in my l33t Paint skills. Oh yeah.
Some things that did happen to me betwixt yesterdee and todee:
- zomg yesterday night my mom excitedly called us outside, because she noticed that the sky was AMAAAAZING. I don't know what was going on exactly, but the moon was really super bright and you could see the clouds. it looked like a sheet that had been pulled over the world. very very cool. thanks, mom! <333
- 30 Rock is the best. I love Liz Lemon. I take back everything 'meh' I ever thought about Tina Fey; she is furiously awesome as Liz Lemon. also, Alec Baldwin is MAGNIFICENT. you really have to see it to truly appreciate it. and of course KENNETH. those three are all the reason you need, but luckily the rest of the characters pan out beautifully. even Tracy Morgan/Jordan, who I at first hated but now am finding sort of cute, like... something you once hated, but are now finding sort of cute. fill it in yourself.
- but, is the sketch show SUPPOSED to be unfunny? because it is desperately unfunny, just like SNL. I think maybe that I just don't find sketch shows as a genre very funny, because it relies on extremely superficial humor and doesn't appeal to the audience's emotions at all. the people in the sketches are nowhere near real people, and they aren't supposed to be. you aren't supposed to relate to them or think about them or anything, just laugh at people in obvious costumes acting that one note to death. there's no truth to it that makes it funny. that's how I see it anyway. (exception to infinity: Kids in the Hall, b/c the people are not one-dimensional or completely unfamiliar. and they don't play them with garish obnoxious...ness.)
- I am very bad at parking.
- my mom, my sister, and I worked out to Jane Ponda's Aerobic Exercise and Stress Reduction video. although we don't exactly have enough floor space in front of the TV for three people to do it, we are an intrepid breed and we managed it. my sister and I had first discovered this marvelous VHS tape (labelled 'Jane Ponda', to explain the above) when I was 9 and she was 5. I don't know what we were doing then, but whatever it was, we couldn't have been doing it correctly. it's a work-out.
- ughhh my stomach has been achey-uncomfortable for like three days now and occasionally burns like fire. even cupping didn't work! *gasp* cupping is always supposed to work! do not want.
- have to finish two scholarship thingys before my mom leaves for Korea or else I'll get into big trouble. I am an Adult.
- we (as a family) watched Pokemon today, and we all enjoyed it heartily. yes we did.
