edit: no wait whoops let me finish posting this
They've been filming something on campus since yesterday. I think I'm meant to be used to it and a bit blase since the campus is a not uncommon shooting location. But this is actually the first time I've seen anything be filmed! I'm impressed by the spectacle! Also the catering/food trucks are like right outside the library and the food smells really good. Oh I looked it up online and apparently it's that 90210 TV show. I thought that got cancelled like three years ago. WAIT LMAO WHAT I looked up 90210 (TV series) on wiki just now and LIZ PHAIR is one of the show's composers?? L.Phair/elf hair I can't with you sometimes.
I saw this dude playing trumpet on the corner of a busy street whilst I was on the bus. He was wearing a pinstriped suit with a hat and looked really classy, but he also had a liter of orange soda next to his open trumpet case. No cup or anything, just a giant bottle of soda! Man needs refreshment. lol idk I was endeared.
song combos I like:
The Corpse Bride - Piano Duet
The Beatles - The Fool on the Hill (demo) [mono]
Fleetwood Mac - Landslide (live in Yokohama)
Wolf Parade - Language City
Band of Horses - Laredo
Low - laser beam (live)
Wir sind Helden - Lass uns verschwinden
I am obsessed with Landslide. It's a really beautiful song.
Matthew Sweet - Sick of Myself
Marianne Rosenberg - How Can I Go Now*
Lilo & Stitch - Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride
The Jackson 5 - I Want You Back
Tegan & Sara - Soil, Soil
+ bonus: Ben Folds - Heist
*my mind is completely corrupted. for some mystifying reason (srsly if you listen to it you'll have no idea why, idk myself) I thought of Jonghyun during this song and my mind constructed this huge music video for him derpily dancing to this 70s eurodisco song and it became this ridiculous, like, celebration of him. just fucking hooray!! you exist!!
New glasses look like goggles. I feel like I should be driving a Vespa or something.
I have been listening to Blondie a lot. I don't say "a lot of Blondie" because I'm really only listening to the same five songs over and over and over and over and over.
I am in the middle of reading a 40+ chapter long cancerfic. D:
Parks & Recreation is a really sweet and fun show. It took me a while to warm up to it, but watching it is like getting a big fuzzy cuddle to your brain that also makes you laugh. Everyone is GREAT. I LOVE Leslie. Amy Poehler is fantastic. I love it when main characters are worth the attention the show pays them, and Leslie is so good and decent. <3__<3 I'm glad that she dumped Justin, it was ridiculous how completely out of his league she was. (I kind of want her and Ron to get accidental-married or something.) And Andy!! Chris Pratt is the most likeable. Just the most! CHARMING AND DISARMING. He is perfect. And and and I like Mark and Donna and even April! Her crush on Andy is INCREDIBLE. Her helpless smiling!! OMFG. I like Ann too (ahaha her beleaguered expressions are gr8 and I love how genuinely she likes Leslie) but Rashida Jones is like DISTRACTINGLY pretty. Every time I see her I'm all HOW DOES A PERSON GET TO BE THAT PRETTY. And of course, Ron is excellent.
Small note: I also like the bassist in Andy's band. He is cute!
Small note 2: FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUCK THIS POSSUM EPISODE. I LEGIT HATE POSSUMS.
I have been chain-eating all day. It's like chain-smoking but even more terribler. Since 7 AM (idk why I woke up so early) I've eaten two tortillas, a bunch of rotisserie chicken, three glasses of cranberry juice, a cup of vanilla yogurt, an egg croissant sandwich, half a bottle of Coke, and part of a chicken pot pie. I... should stop... eating......................... omnomnomNOMNOMNOOOOOMMMMMMMMM
I wish someone would write a REALLY GOOD song for Minagawa Junko because she deserves it. I quite like some of the songs she has now but I want her to have an AMAZING album. She could DESTROY the world with awesomeness if she had a proper song, her voice is that good. Like, 'I watched two episodes of gay catboy child molestation anime for it' good. (The production values, by the way, are excellent. The title cards are very nice.)
Okay, why not!? Mini ~MinaJun~ primer!! Minagawa Junko is a very talented voice actress. Her first big and well-known role was as the titular Echizen Ryoma on Prince of Tennis*. (Women frequently voice young boys or ~effeminate~ men in anime.) She MADE that character. Ryoma would not be half the superadorable smartass bratty little bastard if it wasn't for her voice. Of all the anime I watched at the time, her voice was the first that I really NOTICED as completely taking the character to another level. It has so much charisma.
*Ah, Prince of Tennis. Where to begin? Or more aptly, WHERE TO FUCKING END? It has been like SIX YEARS and I still return to this cracked out mess. Okay, so... Prince of Tennis is this anime about tennis. Well. "Tennis." It's like magical girl Dragonball Z tennis. The series has no integrity at all. It has CANON chibi episodes. MULTIPLE. It is pretty amazing. The terrible thing is that my sister and I were DEEPLY invested in it for a good year. I remember how eagerly we waited as we downloaded 4 episode packs through bittorrent. How excitedly we listened to the music. How earnestly we tried to UNDERSTAND TENNIS. No one does crack like Tenipuri.
Swear to... (for Pandora Hearts)
This song is for some anime I don't know. She sounds like she's singing in character. Her range is really amazing, both in regular speaking voice talent and in singing. Also this song is SO anime, ahahaha.
Hikari no Saki (as Echizen Ryoma, with Okiayu Ryoutarou as Tezuka Kunimitsu for Prince of Tennis)
LOLOOOL whenever Tezuka sings, ALL I CAN HEAR is Shigure from Fruits Basket. SIGH SIGH SIGH. There was a point where I listened to this song like three times a day. Don't ask why, just accept it. Anyway, Minagawa Junko can honestly pass for a young boy in this song. Her range, omg.
To give you an idea of her singing voice out of character.
To give you an idea of the other side of her range. I listened to this for the first time right after Swear to... and it was such a mindfuck whiplash omg.
FIGHT TO THE END (as Echizen Ryoma for Prince of Tennis)
REALIZE (as Echizen Ryoma for Prince of Tennis)
These two songs were earlier on in the series' run, so her Ryoma singing voice isn't as developed as it is in Hikari no Saki, for example. It is still very very amazing. FIGHT TO THE END is especially super heart-pattering. <3_____<3 (PS, I don't think there's a LOGIC behind the ALL CAPS ENGLISH TITLES in Japanese songs. Korea does this TOO. I think it's JUST FOR AESTHETICS slash EMPHASES since that is WHY I RANDOM caps MYSELF.)
I feel like if ANYONE ELSE sang this song, I wouldn't like it at all, but since it's Minagawa Junko, I've listened to it five times on loop. I - I think it is kinda beautiful!! Like, "Go and do what's right/Only you can set your feelings free" actually sounds like it means something when she sings it. <3__<3 And I really like the way she speaks English. It's not perfect and it's kinda hard to understand sometimes but the way it sounds is great, like the words are too full in her mouth.
She is my favorite seiyuu you guys.
I had a bunch of thoughts about how bandom is collapsing in on itself like a dying star but uhhh they are dumb.

Yesterday we made The Boat. The Boat is the monstrous structure that occurs when you push the sections of our couch together. We end up making The Boat every summer even though it's ridiculous and takes up half of the living room. This year JJB stands on the edge of The Boat with his plastic bow and arrow set, pretending to shoot piranhas. And other notable things.
JJB aims at the wall with the church calendar
Sister: JJB, are you trying to shoot Jesus?
JJB: No, I'm shooting the wall above Jesus!
Sister: Yeah, I know, I was kidding around --
JJB: That's where Satan is coming to attack Jesus!
Sister and me: LOL WUT
JJB: Aww, a direct hit! Satan falls into the alligator pit and gets chomped into little pieces!
I paraphrased a little, JJB was much more graphic in his description. He's a weird kid.
Relatedly, I have to pick him up from summer school tomorrow. By myself. His school is in Ceres and the easiest way to get there involves the freeway. I am going to get lost. I have to take him to school on Friday morning too! ;___;

I skipped writing down the non-English and instrumental songs. You can guess if you like or just dl the song, whaaatever! I didn't do this all at once btw, but I do enjoy it because a, I like wasting time; b, it is very gratifying in a weird way; c, it helps me organize my music collection especially wrt backing it up via mediafire.
( 20x5 )
James Rabbit seriously keeps getting better to me with every new song I hear and they didn't start off half-bad. I like how jittery and jangly they are! "Starting with the song -- WHOOHAOOO!"
Ida - Maybelle
This song is so beautiful, it's like being hit over the head with piece of cement. It is that striking (badum-psh) and that unfair. "Lo~ok at me -- am I still the one you wanted me to be?"
George Harrison - My Sweet Lord
Speaking of beautiful. I HELLA DIDN'T KNOW that THIS "My Sweet Lord" was the same "My Sweet Lord" that Nina Simone sang (which I love love love so so so much... much much) until yesterday when I uh heard the song. It is too good. Like, "George Harrison, you fucking bastard, why did you write such a perfect song?? I can't handle it!!" good. "Hallelujah, Hare Krishna."
one more! Nina Simone - My Sweet Lord
Jib Kidder - Atleatoric (full mix)
I'm going to embarrass myself trying to describe Jib Kidder. They do sampling in the vein of the Avalanches. Keep in mind that I don't really know what sampling is, and I've only heard six Avalanches songs. Okay, whatever, all you need to know is that JIB KIDDER IS AWESOME. "We rockin' stillettos."
one more! Jib Kidder - Windowdipper
There's a reason why everyone blogs this.
Helicopter Helicopter - Trembling God
I think this song could be stronger, but the chorus is still extremely satisfying for me. "You were almost something, and I was trapped like a trembling god."
Neko Case - People Got A Lotta Nerve
This is one of my favorites from Middle Cyclone. I sort of can't believe Neko Case is real. She is so effortlessly sincere and warm and powerful at the same time and it is too amazing for life. "So the saying says, an elephant never forgets."
Lastly, my sister sent me the best song.
In domestic news: WHY DIDN'T LIBRARY GUY EVEN SAY HI TO ME WHEN WE WERE AT WORK TOGETHER FOR TWO FUCKING HOURS??? I wanted him to say hi to me so bad. Fuck I don't want to be this creepy fixated person!! I don't want to want him to be my boyyyyfriend but that is what is happening. I was seriously freaking out those whole two hours. It was excruciating and also, CREEPY. STOP BEING WEIRD, SELF!! I cannot afford to flip out every Wednesday. Library Guy needs to be decapitalized in my world to just a library guy. That conversation was just a conversation to him like one he has with lots of people because he is a charming and frondly guy. It wasn't like THE SAVING GRACE OF HIS QUARTER like it was for me, since he has normal human interactions like a NORMAL PERSON. I don't even have friends. OMG. I wish he said hi to me.
I've fucked off of Supernatural, the show but I am keeping up with Supernatural, the cast because MISHA COLLINS IS AN AMAZING PERSON AND I LOVE HIM. Seriously, why is he on that show though? Is it some kind of experiment for him? Because he is like way out of their league in terms of AWESOME. (I still have not gotten over the fact that he co-produced Loot. That is pretty goddamn choice.) Oh and he is all aware of (some of) the super-cloud of poisonous misogyny/sexism surrounding Supernatural. Dude I just want him to BREAK FANDOM.
Dear diary, I still hate old people. In unrelated news, I am also still going to hell.
I have no motivation for life at the moment. NOTHING IS WORTH IT. Reading is not worth it, lectures are not, work is not. Ugh whether I do or go to any of those things doesn't affect anyone but me, and THOSE THINGS DON'T MATTER TO ME. (Flash-forward to the end of the quarter where I will be a distraught crycat about this major fucking up, but at the moment, life motto is FUCK IT, WHATEVER.) I don't want to do anything but eat. My healthy life!
It's weird to see your opinions change, especially if you don't remember what your past opinions were in the first place. I've been cleaning out various documents on the computer machine and I ran into a couple of things I said about the Beatles that I TOTALLY DO NOT REMEMBER SAYING. They are really LOL WTF. For instance, I had saved a rocksecret that said, "The more I listen to other bands, the more overrated they seem" over a picture of the Beatles. And I had named that picture, "i agree with this." WHAT?! STFU, past!self. Ugh that word, "overrated." Pshaw. Also, from an IM conversation from last year, I said that I didn't know if I had a favorite Beatle was (okay) but I knew for sure that if I did, it wasn't Paul (WHAT?!). I said it all snotty too! LOLOL whaaaaat. For the record, Paul is sort of my favorite now. My opinions about him from two months ago have changed, never mind a year. So many pointless thoughts I have about this! Shortcut: I love Paul, I think he is Misunderstood (of course only I and a select few Understand him), and he is a ridiculous person. Why is there such pressure to pick a favorite anyway? Category fetishism is just too delicious I suppose.
However the more things change, the more they say the same. October 2006!
counttheplanes: dude, whenever i'm talking to anyone these days all i can think is OMGOMGOMGOMG WHAT DO I DO WHAT DO I DO OMG WHAT AM I GOING TO SAY NEXT OMGGG!!!!
LOL oh my brains.
counttheplanes: zomg at today's history lecture my ta sat next to me and i TOTALLY did not notice it was him until 3/4 of the way through
relivingstars: were you sleeping or something?
counttheplanes: i was all doodling and yawning and really obviously not paying attn
counttheplanes: hopefully he is dumb too and didn't think i looked familiar
relivingstars: ah... eh, he'll get over it.... prolly doesnt care
relivingstars: maybe he doodles in class, too?
counttheplanes: no, he was taking notes
counttheplanes: actually i thought some guy two rows ahead of me was him
counttheplanes: "he looks hotter today... nice"
counttheplanes: "the guy next to me sort of looks like him too... even has a cast on his arm like he did-- wait."

I'd like to sincerely thank the disco for helping me not be embarrassed to like what I like. I'm not completely fearless about it, I am still all "whatever will people think!" sometimes, but that is because I am freakishly insecure and dependent on validation from other people, not because of any quel horreur nature of the disco. And the disco has seriously brought me so much love and joy and insanity, it feels wrong to be ashamed of it. (ALSO BDEN URIE IS A RADIANT STAR IN THE CONSTELLATION OF MY UNIVERSE.)
Wiff this, I realized that I was kind of a indie hipster snob about music in that I was hung up about what ~kind~ of person listens to what ~kind~ of music. I thought I had mostly let go of this but it turns out, not so much! I am still resisting actually LIKING Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance's music, but I kind of like both of their most recent stuff. They are the Borg, resistance is futile, etc. There are worse things to be than a Fall Out Boy fan. Hahaha that's so insulting, why am I being such a douchebag? I know I would be hella butthurt if I say someone say "I'm sure that liking the disco is not the complete end of the world" or whatever. Oh I don't know. I think I have to give up the idea of an objective good and an objective bad altogether. Why do I still have this idea anyway?? This entry is just BLAH BLAH BLAH I'M DUMB AS ROCKS. Well this whole lj is, but this post in particular.
Janelle Monáe - Many Moons
This follows immediately after Violet Stars Happy Hunting! (SO FUN) and it's such a perfeckt ~companion piece~. Different kind of energy, but also very interesting with great great pacing and great voice and everything great. Some music blogger's description of her was "Very very very special" and iawtc! She's very exciting and innovative and just wowow what a great new sound, it's really cool. "And when the truth goes bang! the shouts splat-ter, out."
Bonus: March of the Wolfmasters
Bonus: Violet Stars Happy Hunting!
Might as well listen in order. March first, then Violet Stars Happy Hunting!, then Many Moons. The album is a sci-fi concept musical thing and the story is so... STORY (you'll see once you listen to March), but I think it really works! I especially think March of the Wolfhunters (opening track) is effective at setting the mood of the story and the weird fun of her music in general. I dig her you guise.
Jens Lekman - Friday Night at the Drive-In Bingo
CLARINETTOOOOOOOOOO~ Yes, so the clarinet is I'd say 90% of the appeal of this song and the other 10% is uhh the rest of the song. I'm finding that I don't have a lot of patience with Jens Lekman and his rather expressionless voice and his borderline indie douche lyrics but his instrumentals are always lovely. Lovely! I LOVE THE WOODEN DUCK QUAAAWW SOUND OF THE CLARINET! "The smell of 1952,just-waitin'-for-you!"
The Kingsmen - Louie Louie
This is a great tune, folks. "Ohkay let's give it to 'em, rock out! *awes guitar solo* *confused vocals* *confused drum fill*"
Amanda Palmer - Runs in the Family
This is almost too much but for me the frenetic and relentless... shaky nervous yappy marching military dog... energy won out in the end. What an evocative description!! The Dresden Dolls aren't my thing but I czeched out Amanda Palmer's solo stuff because it's been produced by Ben Folds and I was curious. Worthwhile. Yappy marching military dog! "I come by it honestly."
Tegan and Sara - I Know I Know I Know
I got into T&S a couple of weeks ago and I've been listening to them pretty steadily ever since. I thought they were inaccessible for a long time but the Con is seriously amaze you guys; every single song is thousands of A++s. Also Tegan and Sara, besides the musicality, are a lot of undiluted hardcore awesome. *____* This is so refreshing after my headlong spiral into liking the personalities of tons of bands without liking the music. But their music matches their AMAZINGNESS. This song is from So Jealous, which is ehhh for me, but this song is yes. "Tell me this love hasn't changed me, has it changed me, at all?"
Panic at the Disco - SEKRIT COVER!!
I'm not mocking people who think of this kind of thing as a spoiler! I think by now anyone who cares already know what the song was though. Also I already told everyone who knows about this LJ. And I labelled the actual file. Oh well. I was sorry that I already knew what song it was when I first listened to it; it would've been BEYOND DELIGHTFUL to be surprised by that!! It was so unexpected! It's one of those kind of perfeckt replica covers (like Song X as sung by Band X, rather than covers that reinterpret the song into the band's own bandiness lol wat) which I normally don't find that interesting, but 1. discooooooo; 2. it is an actual perfeckt replica, they played it really well; 3. for this kind of song I prefer it when people don't fuck with ~reinterpretation~ (srsly bitch just step down); 4. bden's voice always turns songs into something new to listen to. Terrible phrasing. But I mean his voice is very distinct and has, to me, an interesting texture. He just doesn't sound like anyone out there right now; 5. IT IS REALLY FUN. Listen I am so charmed by bden's effortless voice. HE'S SUCH A GOOD SINGER. *____*!! Re: the beginning I respect bden's right to falsetto but I still hate it when he does it. ZOMG huge disco paragraph. This always happens. "Alright Spencer, bring it back in, homie."
DJ Downfall - Seven Dials (ft. Gene Serene)
I LOVE THIS SONG. It's from fluxblog so you can download it there too. Unnecessary comment. I LOVE THIS SONG. It's 80s sounding in an incredible way. I went on a mad dash trying to find more stuff from either DJ Downfall or Gene Serene and I couldn't find anything. It put a stamp of pure D: in my heart. "It's all about you, except when it's all about me."
Sam Cooke - Blowin' in the Wind (Bob Dylan cover)
Embarrassing: I got into Sam Cooke because bden liked him and I was curious. Well as I always (since this sentence) say, whatever gets you there. I am so in awe of Sam Cooke. He is a singular institution, like Nina Simone, where you listen to them and every time you almost can't believe how GOOD they are. You know you're listening to pure talent and class and just a mastery of human potential. You can hear the wealth of the world in their voices. So yeah Sam Cooke is incredible. This cover works on so many levels, the reinterpretation, the preservation of the message, the effortless control he has over the song, how it sounds upbeat and how he can sing it that way without the song sounding contrived at all, and how he can sing it with warmth and poignancy but still with an almost untouchable beauty and real weight behind the words and a real request for change. Oh man, Sam Cooke, just incredible. "I gotta go -- I don't wanna! -- but I gotta go."
Drop a pill and say hello if you take any, please. :D
xx --> tt
(sorry for this pain in the ass thing but I don't want to risk having my mediafire acct froze or whatever, even if the risk is incredibly miniscule, since I'm using that to back all my shit up)

MORE MUSIC SPAM! I got some new songs I am quitely in love with, and I think my YSI trial is going to run out soon. IF ANYONE HAS REQUESTS, SPEAK NOW. SERIOUSLY, if you are interested in something, I will at least try to hook you up. I am so bored all the time.
Dolly Parton - Here You Come Again
Dolly Parton has one of the cutest voices ever. It's so scratchy and distinctive and I <3 her. "Lookin' better than a bo-dy, has, a right to."
Jens Lekman - A Postcard to Nina
The first verse makes you think "sigh stupid twee lyricfest from Jens Lekman", only to make you feel pretty darn foolish when he totally kicks your ass and proves you wrong by the chorus. LOL it's like a romantic comedy plot in four minutes. And you can hear his accent here at times, which I like a lots. "Oh! God! What have I done!"
The Apples in Stereo - 7 Stars
I thought I really liked AiS whole-heartedly but that only applies to the latest CD I think. My standards as of now is to only name a band as one of my favorites if I like the majority of their discography. This theoretically puts newer bands at an advantage, but I feel that with 10000000 new bands coming out of the woodwork thanks to the innernets and such, and with most of these bands sucking ass hard, what to the ever, my system totally works. Also! AiS needs to lay off the Mr. Blue Sky voice distorter effect thingie a little. "Seven stars, in the sky, in the sky."
The Chemical Brothers - The Pills Won't Help You Now
I really really love this song. It sort of sneaks up on you, but... a word that doesn't seem as deceptive or abrupt as "sneaks." It breaks over you like a wave. It makes me feel pieceful and calm in my hart. Hey guys, am I like officially counted as an electro fan? Is this what I should answer when people are all HAY O U LIEK MYUSIC WOT KIND OF MUSIC U LISSEN TO?!11 Oh man I looked up the lyrics just now and I got them pretty rong. "You're digging your hee,ee,ls."
Ambulance LTD - Primitive (The Way I Treat You)
Cheerful awesome creepy. "Relax! Don't think about it, the way, I treat you."
Diana Ross and the Supremes - You Can't Hurry Love
YAY!! :DDDD "No, you just have to wait!"
* :D *
Let me just say that I fell embarrassingly in love with Owen Pallett aka Final Fantasy when I saw these videos. It was 3 AM and I was of weak constitution. I'm trying to word this right. Even though I do really like some of his music and I think he's one talented snaggletooth, I don't <333 him or his music really. It's - it's just that it's so pretty. And he sounded so lovely in the videos, just his voice and his violin. PRETTY.
Zooey Deschanel & Samantha Shelton - Walk Right Back/Stormy Weather
This is sort of ghetto, but all I did was take this youtube video and convert it to an mp3 file with Zamzar. The quality's not the best but it's not too bad; just put the volume up hiiigh. I figure that I'm not the only one who's desperate to hear more of Zooey D.'s (Z.Desch?) voice, so... here you go! :D
Blackball False, Truth! - Knives Chau Luvs LCD
Actually you can download this (and all his other stuff) from his site for free, since he's that kind of awesomesaucecrazy.
The Apples in Stereo - Sunndal Song
Archie Bell and the Drells - Strategy (special disco version)
Belle and Sebastian - The Monkeys Are Breaking Out of the Zoo
Marilyn Monroe - Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend
Final Fantasy - Peach, Plum, Pear (Joanna Newsom cover)
Pokemon - TV Theme
Er, that last one... yeah, I've got nothing. But guys, did you know there's like a whole other verse to that song?!
FUCK IT, WHATEVER.
A Goofy Movie - Lester's Possum Park
I FREAKED. OUT. when I watched this part in the movie. I am serious, that one Halloween scarred me for life wrt the Devil's footsoldiers. Anyway, A Goofy Movie is love. "Come hoot and howl and holler from the heart~~~"
Do As Infinity - Tooku Made
Ah, good ol' Do As Infinity. They are solid, amirite? This song puts me in a good mood.
Jimmy Eat World - What I Would Say To You Now
I always mistake the title for that one lyric in Hear You Me. I love his voice. Minor-y, a kind of muffled bitterness. From the singles album. "It keeps me from trying -- it keeps me quiet."
Wanda Jackson - Rock Your Baby
Ahahaha I love her scratchy spunky voice and I love this song but most of all, I love the way she says "baby". "Rok - yor bayyyybie, awll niigh' lawwwng~"
The Light Footwork - The Art of Everyday Communication, Part 1
From this awesome mix; perfect for the subject matter, but pretty damn good on all on its lonesome too. "Could not decide, how best to approach you; proceeded with caution and an,awk, ward, hand, shake -- it was all, wooo-ooo-woooooo -- you were like, who the hell are you?"
Heather Nova - Sugar
From this fucking awesome vid. You should just download the vid; you only need a passing knowledge of Smallville (ie, Lana doesn't get to have a personality/spine on the show because she's a plot device called the Love Interest) to get the point. It's amaaaaazing. I mostly saw vids as just an excuse to string a bunch of clips together to your favorite song or whatever (and i was fine with that, for reals!) until this. You should also download Martina; that'll knock you on your ass and stay with you for a while besides. I must've watched each of those about ten times each. IN A ROW. I really really like this song. If you only download one thing, I want it to be THIS. "Going somewhere older than I was."
This was a really half-hearted spam, except for the ginormous push for the Heather Nova.
I really hate how everything in the entire godknown world is being remade by Hollywood. Is there any children's book series that hasn't been made into a movie yet? The Asian movie thing is some kind of weird cultural shitstorm altogether. We should be due for another "trend of thought" revolution. The new wave will be called bullshit-freeism, and it will be so powerful your face will be sucked off. OR, we could call it soul-crippling apathyism; that's where we watch the destruction of the planet and the fragile flower of man's goodness while thinking about what we want to eat. I usually say a brownie.
I hate driving and I'm very bad at it.
